Assists with periodic reviews of departmental job responsibilities and update documentation as appropriate.The application of appropriate and effective supervisory techniques in order to properly select, train and or secure proper training for and evaluate the job performance of personnel of the department.Adherence to all Cooperative policies and procedures, safety and security policies and procedures, and supervisory and managerial directives.Knowledge of distribution system, and roads and map locations in assigned areas of responsibility.Knowledge of OSHA, NESC, RUS construction specifications and related rules and regulations.Personal productivity, performance of duties, and adherence to schedules and deadlines for assigned work.Safety of members and the public affected by assigned operations and personnel.
Coordination of material sheets, work orders and sketch sheets for assigned projects. Preparation and submission of material tickets and other documentation required. Favorable member relations through personal contacts and activities of assigned personnel and reviewing public liability (public property) damage reports, as prepared, to assure accuracy and better rapport with members. Inspecting completed maintenance work to ensure compliance with specifications and established standards. Response time to outages by assigned personnel. Maintenance of assigned facilities and equipment. Adherence to construction codes by assigned personnel. Accuracy of assigned reports and documentation. Staff assistance provided for other operating departments. Inspecting storage conditions for rubber gloves and sleeves to ensure best results of safety and testing programs. Setting an example and encouraging hazard recognition by assigned personnel by formally reporting hazards on a timely basis. Development of preventative maintenance schedules and service records for individual vehicles and pieces of work equipment and monitoring mileage and engine hours. Identification of productivity measurement criteria, collection of necessary data, and productivity of assigned personnel and crews. Responding to reports of member problems and trouble on Cooperative lines and facilities. Reports to immediate supervisor of progress and deviation from plans in areas of responsibility and communication with supervisors and assigned personnel. Supervision, performance, training, motivation and morale of assigned personnel and crews. Quality of service to consumers within assigned areas of responsibility. Plans, organizes and directs cooperative line workers to ensure maximum utilization of human, material and financial resources and provides for the construction, operation and maintenance of the distribution facilities of CEMC.ĪCCOUNTABILITY - The following activities are specific to this position: Member-Consumer Relationships: Builds and maintains positive member-consumer relationships promoting the Cooperative’s plans, procedures, and services as well as promoting a positive image for the organization and its goals and objectives.Įxternal Relationships: Builds and maintains positive external relationships with the general public and other organizations which contribute to the overall success of the organization and reflects positively on the organization and its goals and objectives.
